Year 12 Students Visit Oriel College, The University of Oxford
Year 12 students from Aldridge School enjoyed an interesting day at Oriel College, The University of Oxford on the 30th April 2024.
The day was designed to introduce talented Y12s to life and learning at the prestigious university. Our students enjoyed sessions on the nature of Oxford, the process of application, and spoke to current students about their experiences.
The visit also included a tour of the stunning Oriel College, and the spectacular sites surrounding the university such as the Bridge of Sighs and the Bodleian Library.
It was a hugely enjoyable experience and students have started to see Oxford as a realistic option.
Z Merrick, Year 12 pupil, said, “It was an extremely informative experience that has definitely aided in both illuminating the university applications process and inspiring me to work hard in my A-levels.”
