Table Tennis Success

Three table tennis teams from Aldridge went to Streetly School to compete in the regional table tennis competition. They competed against teams from Streetly, St Francis, QMGS, QMHS and Walsall academy. All teams performed exceptionally well throughout the competition, with our KS3 A-team playing in the competition for the third year in a row and our KS3 B-team (made up of mostly year 7’s) played in their first ever competition.

The KS3 A-team managed to retain their title winning all their games convincingly. Our KS3 B-team won all but one of their games, only losing out in the final to our A-team.

Our KS4 team just missed out in the final (after winning all their group games and semi-final convincingly) losing on points count back (40-41) after a 2-2 draw to St Francis.

We are all extremely proud of these students who have worked hard in after school club and competed excellently. Well done, all!
