Remembrance Parade and Service

Headteacher, Mr Worth, along with Deputy Head Boy L. Hardcastle, Head Girl E. Biddle and two Year 7 Students, D. Parsons and J. Done participated in the Aldridge Remembrance Parade and Service on Sunday 10th November 2024 and laid a wreath on behalf of the school.  

D. Parsons won a competition held by the Royal British Legion (RBL) to read her poem entitled 'Remembrance' during the service. She read her poem exceptionally well, with great maturity and confidence. 

Aldridge School participated in the two minute silence on Monday 11th November 2024 with students assembling on the playground.

The 'Last Post' and 'Reveille' were played extremely well by C. Bagg (Year 13), and D. Parsons read her poem to the whole school.
