Pupils Make A Noise About Bullying On Odd Socks Day
As part of the national Anti-Bullying Week, Aldridge School pupils arrived on Monday wearing amazing odd socks.
Odd Socks Day is designed to highlight Anti-Bullying Week and celebrate what makes us all unique and our pupils certainly did not disappoint, with a range of different colours and designs on show throughout the day.
One group of Year 7 pupils said they loved the opportunity to wear odd socks for the day as it “started discussions about bullying and what we can do to prevent it”.
Anti-Bullying Week will continue with form-time activities and PSHCE sessions, as well as a competition for pupils to design their own odd socks on theme of “Make A Noise About Bullying”. If the enthusiasm of our pupils for Odd Socks Day was anything to go by, the designs are going to be phenomenal!
Well done to all pupils who took part!
