French Restaurant Trip - Year 8 & Year 9

A select group of Year 8 and Year 9 pupils took part in an immersive French Restaurant experience trip at The Olive Grove restaurant in Cannock.

They participated confidently in all the language learning activities which culminated towards them ordering a 3 course meal in French.

The meal consisted of French delicacies such as potage, paté de la campagne, bœuf bourguignon, merguez with couscous and the famous crêpe.

H. Jones, 887L, won une médaille d’or (a gold medal) in a vocabulary challenge!

We even had Cantona, Mbappé and Macron visiting the restaurant!
