Aldridge School's Successful "Act of Kindness" Initiative
We are thrilled to share the wonderful success of our recent "Act of Kindness" initiative, which saw the Aldridge School community come together to support those in need this holiday season.
Following our character education program's launch of our new core values—Kindness, Honesty, and Respect—we asked our students, staff, and families to help us make a meaningful impact by donating shoebox gifts. The shoeboxes, filled with essential items, were to be donated to two incredible charities: Hothouse and Samaritan’s Purse, who will distribute them to children and families in need.
Thanks to the generosity of our students, parents, and staff, we received an overwhelming number of donations. Every form group contributed, filling shoeboxes with everything from toiletries to toys, which will bring comfort and joy to those less fortunate this festive season. The collection was a true reflection of the core values that are now guiding our school community.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed. Your support has not only helped make a difference in the lives of others, but it has also demonstrated the power of kindness and compassion in action. The success of this initiative would not have been possible without your generosity, and we are incredibly proud of the impact we have made together.
This "Act of Kindness" has been a wonderful way to celebrate the values of Kindness, Honesty, and Respect in our school, and we look forward to continuing to foster these principles throughout the year. Thank you once again for your unwavering support, and we look forward to further opportunities to come together as a community to make a positive difference.
