Aldridge School Celebrates World Book Day

All students “shared a story” as part of the World Book Day celebrations on Thursday 7th March.

The Year 7 and 8 pupils created mini books, the Year 9 composed “writes of passage” for their favourite reads, and the rest of the students had debates about their much-loved books, and made recommendations to their peers.

J Wiseman, Year 8 pupil, said, “I really enjoyed showcasing my favourite book by creating a mini version of it!”

K Jones, Year 8 Form Tutor, commented, “All students were very excited and loved the idea of creating a mini book. Students even brought in their own favourite books for inspiration, and were very enthusiastic to share their reviews with others in the class.”

It was an overwhelmingly positive experience for all!
