Careers in PSHCE lessons

At Aldridge School KS3 receive two 30 minute weekly careers taught lessons for one term during their PSHCE time with their tutor. KS4 receive one 30 minute weekly careers taught lessons for one term during their PSHCE time with their tutor. The timing coincides with important events for the year groups so Year 11 is when they are applying for 6th forms, colleges or apprenticeships and Year 9 is when they are choosing options. Students also receive regular topical and relevant assemblies.

Sixth Form students also receive careers sessions within their PSHCE time, however in addition to this they have regular assemblies tailored to suit their needs as they prepare to leave Aldridge School. In addition, Year 12 students all have the opportunity to complete work experience.
