Today year 7 pupils were exploring engineering. They began by explaining what they thought ‘engineering’ meant before looking at the different areas engineers can work in including make-up, shoes and food. Next they looked at different energy sources identifying the renewable and non-renewable sources that could affect all of our futures. Finally they tested electric cars on a racetrack aiming to get the furthest distance by changing the voltage and testing after each time.
