Sixth Form Dress Code

Sixth Form Dress Code
Aldridge School Sixth Form pupils are regarded as role models for younger pupils in the school. Your standards of dress are an important part of the ethos of the Sixth Form.  You are asked to regard Sixth Form dress requirements in a positive manner. The aim of this dress code is to have a smart appearance that allows you a degree of personal choice. However, the school is a workplace and your appearance should reflect that.

Because of the constant changes of fashion that take place, it has to remain the right of senior members of staff and the Head of Sixth Form to determine that a particular item of dress is not appropriate for school. Students who turn up to school inappropriately dressed will have items confiscated or may be asked to go home and change. Students should accept that if they choose to dress inappropriately they are risking being sent home, with a consequent loss of learning time.

  • Extreme hair colour
