A current nationwide safeguarding concern which affects young people is the risky online behaviour of sexting.
This half term at Aldridge, we are highlighting the risks and potential consequences of sexting for young people via assemblies, in order to help our pupils make informed and safe choices and avoid putting themselves at risk.
To support this, we have provided some advice and information for Parents/Carers on the risks of sexting, and how to deal with suspected incidents. This document can be downloaded from the school website below.
We would stress that this information is intended to educate and heighten awareness, not to cause alarm, but if you have further concerns, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mr Eaton.
