This is the fifth school week of the lockdown and the seventh week overall. Everyone is
dealing with the lockdown in different ways but one thing is clear – most people are beginning
to tire of being shut away and everyone is beginning to speculate about how and when we can return to any sort of ‘normality’.

Further to my earlier letter, our aim today has been to clarify which students are eligible to attend school next week and who to expect on Monday morning. As part of our induction process we normally hold a series of events in June and July to help students and
parents/guardians prepare for the move. Given the current situation in respect of coronavirus, school
closures and social distancing measures, we wanted to reassure you that even if the calendared events
have to be cancelled we will ensure that all appropriate paperwork and information you may need will be
sent out to you.
Following the government announcement yesterday regarding the closure of schools to most students we are working on a plan which we hope to communicate to you tomorrow through email and the school website.
