Virtual Work Experience

During lockdown staff at Aldridge School managed to secure a virtual work experience opportunity at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital which was aimed at year 10 and 11 students. ‘During live webinars students got to meet NHS professionals and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about day to day work. Learning about different areas of NHS work and the skills and qualifications needed to undertake various roles. One Y10 Aldridge student, opted to join Occupational Therapy and Audiology. She said that she found it insightful and helpful, gaining a certificate of attendance for both.
