Students and staff at Aldridge School are celebrating record GCSE results this year following on from last week’s A Level success. Despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic, it has been an excellent year for GCSE results with an impressive number of higher grades achieved overall.
Amongst Aldridge’s top students are Emma Fuller with Grade 9s in 8 subjects, along with a Grade 8 in English Language and Rhys Allen who achieved 7 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s. Devina Patel also achieved Grade 9s in 7 subjects along with a Grade 8 and a Grade 7.
There was further success for Ameenah Jabeen, Joel Philip, Fatiah Adeoti and Olek Matuszkiewicz netting 19 Grade 9s, 13 Grade 8s and 5 Grade 7s between them.
Headteacher, Ian Bryant said “I am very proud of what our students have achieved and would like to congratulate them on their success. After a difficult two years, I am delighted that the hard work of students and staff has been rewarded with such good results.”
