Aldridge School students and staff are once again celebrating improved results for A level and Vocational subjects, with over 80% going onto university.

Some of the top students’ achievements include Grace Baldwin, Madiha Aftab, Luke Gillam, James Cox, Maria Ellahi, Samuel Morgan, Mala Mattu and Thomas Williams who achieved 12 Grade A*s and 12 Grade As between them. Grace is to continue her studies in History at the University of Exeter. Madiha, Luke and Maria are going to the University of Birmingham, with Sam set to go to Birmingham City University to study sound engineering and production. Mala is going to Warwick to study Politics and International Studies and finallyThomas has secured a degree apprenticeship with Deloitte, an international accountancy corporation.

Headteacher Ian Bryant said “I am very proud of our students’ successes and grateful to their teachers for all their hard work supporting them. It is fantastic that after two years of challenges we have been able to hold external examinations again and that our students have responded by performing so well. I wish our students all the best for the future whether they are moving on to university, an apprenticeship or employment.”
