We were delighted to welcome several civic dignitaries into school recently and to recognise the contribution of the school to the life of its local community. Guests included Councillor Rose Burley, Mayor of Walsall, Councillor John Murray, Wendy Morton MP, Sgt Major Tam Miller, Mr. Harry Fry, Mr. Russell Smith, Mr. Mike Barber, Mr Bob Cooke, Mr John Rushton, Mrs. Betty Dyke and Mr Frank Reeves.

Mrs. Biddle (Deputy Headteacher) accepted the plaque on behalf of all at the school and thanked all those for their attendance. Light refreshments and a musical presentation organised by Mr. Mason and Mr. Turner ensured a fantastic time was had by all.
