Virtual Sports Day

Dear Parents/Carers,
We hope you have all had a happy and healthy half term and your children are all feeling refreshed and ready to start the new term. As you should already be aware, this week is the launch of Virtual Sports Day, whereby your children complete 10 challenges over the week and compete for their house. Staff and students are taking part so this will be a great way to have some friendly competition and fun whilst at home. If your child would like to take part, please click on the link below, which should take you to a Power Point presentation with all the instructions.
This might be a great activity to get the whole family involved in. We would love to see you completing the challenges so if you would like to send in any photos of your child/family taking part please do so to doyle.r@ald.merciantrust.org. We would also love to post some of the photos on our Twitter page (@ALD_PE) and the school website. Staff are also going to be sending in some photos so please keep a look out on Twitter for some funny photos!
We think this will be a great inter house event for your child to take part in, and will help them feel more connected to Aldridge while they are at home, so please encourage them to take part. We would hate for them to miss out on all the fun!
Good luck and may the best house win!
