Religious Studies have hosted a religious experience day with year 8 students. We were lucky to be joined by the Reverend Jen Middleton from Tynings Lane Church, Jim Green from the Walsall Society of Friends (Quakers), Martin Walker a Humanist Celebrant and for the first time a Buddhist Monk, Rev. Indarathana from the Jethavana Buddhist Vihara.

Year 8 got the chance to move around the school and hear from each speaker on what they believe and what a day in their life is like. There was also an opportunity to ask the speakers questions and join in with some Buddhist meditation. 

All of the speakers said they enjoyed their day with us and commented on how our students were a credit to the school.
