Students Celebrate GCSE Results at Aldridge School

Students and staff at Aldridge School are celebrating improved GCSE results again this year following on from last week’s A Level success.   It has been another good year for GCSE results with an impressive number of higher grades achieved overall.

Amongst Aldridge’s top students are Alex Skellern with 7 Grade 9s in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, English Literature and Geography, along with Grade 8s in English Language and French, and a Grade 7 in Economics.  Anas Shafique also achieved Grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Computer Science, English Literature and History, achieving Grade 7 in Economics, Grade 6 in English Language and Grade 5 in German.

There was further success for Benjamin Leighton, Molly Everist, Ayesha Nahoor, George Blakemore and Miranda Madziva netting 15 Grade 9s, 17 Grade 8s and 13 Grade 7s between them.

Headteacher, Ian Bryant said “I am very proud of what our students have achieved and would like to congratulate them on their success. I am delighted that the hard work of students and staff has been rewarded with improved results.”
