Students shadowing the Young Adult Book Prize visited the Hay Festival to meet the authors of the nominated books.  The annual YA Book Prize was launched by The Bookseller in 2014 to celebrate great books for teenagers and young adults.

Along with other pupils from across the MAT, the students were delighted to observe the Prize Award Ceremony.

The Bookseller’s YA Book Prize went out to Goodbye, Perfect by Sara Barnard, although our students’ favourite to win was Outwalkers by Fiona Shaw.
