Oh la la!

Selected students from year 9 recently visited Wolverhampton University for a ‘Routes into Languages’ Day. They received a motivational talk on learning languages and their uses, along with nine other schools from the area. The students were then asked to work in small groups to design a new product and to produce an advert using as much French as possible. All the pupils put in a great effort with this and did the school proud with what they produced and the positive attitude they showed towards the task. The University tutors then judged the presentations and one of the Aldridge School groups won the prize for speaking the most French. They were advertising ‘auto-smile’ a toothbrush filled with toothpaste that could be personalised. Bon travail!
