The Playhouse have been delivering their performances of ‘Tapestry’ to students at Aldridge School. ‘Tapestry’ is a dynamic participatory theater-in-education tour which explores the implications and consequences of extremist thinking and action. Tapestry provides a unique stimulus for young people and teachers to explore this sensitive and complex issue in a supportive environment. The performance focuses on three characters and shows that through knowledge and understanding we can create a better society. There were lots of very insightful comments made by the students during the discussion and hot-seating activities which showed a maturity when dealing with a difficult and controversial topic.
