Congratulations to Erika Harrison in 722bD who won the year castle competition. Erika made a motte and bailey model castle, complete with a working trebuchet and starred in a video presentation to go with it.

Year 7 have been learning about the development of castles in the Norman era, many great castles were entered and we applaud their efforts.

Commendations also go to runners up Lyla Hitchman, Danielle Dutton and Erica White (Daniels) whose stone castle with figurines earned them 2nd place and Gracie Bull and Ellie Greaves (Scott) whose well-labelled motte and bailey castle earned them 3rd place.
