Aldridge School27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year SCP 14 Pro Rata (actual salary £10,324 pa). (Funding of role dependent on individual needs of student)
Learning support is required from February 2018. The successful candidate will support a Year 10 student with a visual impairment so that he can access the curriculum, participate in learning, experience a sense of achievement and develop independence in learning and other aspects of school life. Enthusiasm, commitment to raising pupil achievement and the ability to work as a team are essential. An interest in literacy, numeracy and/or SEND are desirable. A GCSE qualification in English/Mathematics would be an advantage as would a teaching assistant qualification.
