Star GCSE students at Aldridge School

Aldridge School star student Jennifer Smith was today celebrating netting an impressive haul of top grades.

The 16-year-old GCSE student achieved 11 top grades at GCSE including eight A*’s in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Art, Computer Science, German, History and Classics, with top Grade 9’s in English Literature, English language and Maths.

Hamzah Shafiq was incredibly pleased with his set of results, achieving 100% in 10 of his exam papers.  Hamzah’s  top grades cover a range of subjects including all 3 Sciences, History, Geography, German, English and Maths.

Millie Davidson, Natasha Bates and Anas Koori achieved 17 Grade A*, 3 Grade 9;s and 4 Grade 8’s between them; with top subjects being Sciences, Maths and English. These results stand out from another good set of GCSE results at Aldridge School.

David Mountney, retiring headteacher said: “The pupils in this year’s exams have had to cope with a great deal of change and many more exams in their Year 11 course “They have done so with great application and effort and we are delighted so many are “staying on” into the 6th form at Aldridge School.”
